I am The Reeding Librarian,
otherwise known As Audra Reed.
This is my first year as a Library Media Specialist, but my sixth year in public education. Five of those years were spent in the general education classroom teaching third, fifth, and sixth grades. And then I finished my degree in Educational Technology, with an emphasis as Library Media Specialist, in December of 2015. I hadn't planned to use it right away, but when a position opened up for my dream job and in my alma mater three weeks before school started, I couldn't pass on that opportunity.
As with anything in education, we learn by doing. I'm continually learning and growing as a new Library Media Specialist. My true passion is to help create readers and future leaders with 21st Century Learning Skills. I will be sharing my methods of maddess with you here. Join me!
